Ray Comfort

Ray Comfort: "Many of us were disappointed recently because we had our hopes in a political solution to save America. But our problems are deeper than political. America needs a change of heart that only the gospel of Jesus Christ can bring about. Politics shakes the branches, but the gospel takes an axe to the root of the tree. In the past the message of everlasting life has been taken by missionaries into this world, often at great personal hardship (and even loss of life)."

Fossils? Right. | Ray Comfort's Daily Evidence

Fossils? Right. | Ray Comfort's Daily Evidence: "There are no universally accepted fossil remains which demonstrate the evolution of man.” Nature, vol. 412, 2001, p. 131.

“Scientists concede that their most cherished theories are based on embarrassingly few fossil fragments and that huge gaps exist in the fossil record.” Time magazine, Nov. 7, 1977"

Time to stand up and say, it's too bad if you don't like it, it is the truth.

When Christmas was more religious, the social statistics were far better, and the nation was happier and more in love | Conservative Byte

When Christmas was more religious, the social statistics were far better, and the nation was happier and more in love | Conservative Byte: "As I watch the Christmas specials on television, it’s kind of sad to see all the songs being hyper and about snow and reindeer and winter. It’s sad because I remember decades past when there was a feeling of beauty in the carols and in THE story of Christmas."

Why the Lost Gospels Did Not Make the Canonical Cut

Why the Lost Gospels Did Not Make the Canonical Cut: "The rejection of “other” Gospels by the proto-orthodox and orthodox church was neither arbitrary nor merely political. The reasons for rejecting them were cogent and compelling. Among the main criticisms lifted against the “other” Gospels and their authors is that: (1) The “Jesus” they set forth is not recognizable as the Jesus known in other sacred writings or congruent with apostolic tradition; (2) The “other” Gospels are often esoteric, elitist, and erroneous in what they affirm about God, creation, sin, holiness, ethics, and redemption; and (3) They do not properly have origins among Jesus’ earliest followers and are late and tendentious."

God was in control and he was not going to let them include the wrong writings in our guidebook.

Jesus in the Old Testament. | Ray Comfort's Daily Evidence

Jesus in the Old Testament. | Ray Comfort's Daily Evidence: "Before Adam and Eve sinned, they were two happy, naked vegetarians. Immediately after eating the fruit God commanded them not to eat, they were naked and ashamed. In an effort to cover their shame, they sewed fig leaves together. When God found them in the garden, He slaughtered the first animal in history to make skins to cover Adam and Eve."

On The Box: Words of Comfort: Dinner With 40 Atheists

On The Box: Words of Comfort: Dinner With 40 Atheists: "Most who profess atheism aren’t really “atheists.” After a few moments chatting with them about the fact that every building is proof that there was a builder, and that creation therefore is proof that there is a Creator, many change their minds. Or if, confronted with the fact that they believe that nothing created everything, they default to agnosticism, that something did create everything."
