What did Jesus mean when He said, ‘I and the Father are one’ (John 10:30)?

What did Jesus mean when He said, ‘I and the Father are one’ (John 10:30)?: "Answer: In John 10 Jesus presents Himself as the Good Shepherd and, in a debate with the Jewish leaders, makes the claim, “I and the Father are one” (John 10:30). It was a bold statement—one His audience found quite audacious—and it reveals much about who Jesus is."

The Comfort Zone: Words of Comfort: How to Overcome Lust

The Comfort Zone: Words of Comfort: How to Overcome Lust: "The Bible says "He that gets wisdom loves his own soul" and that God "stores up sound wisdom for the upright." When Solomon prayed for wisdom, God was so pleased He gave him wisdom, riches, and long life. James says that if anyone lacks wisdom they should ask God, who gives it "liberally." Those who have wisdom think right, say right, and always do that which is right. So we should seek wisdom with importunity."

What should we learn from the life of Noah?

What should we learn from the life of Noah?: "Answer: We first hear about Noah in Genesis 5, which begins with “this is the book of the generations of Adam.” This is a recurring phrase in Genesis, and chapter 5 details the godly line of Seth as opposed to the worldly line of Cain (Genesis 4:17-24). Assuming no generational breaks, Noah represents the tenth generation from Adam. The genealogical account of Noah reads, “When Lamech had lived 182 years, he had a son. He named him Noah and said, ‘He will comfort us in the labor and painful toil of our hands caused by the ground the LORD has cursed’” (Genesis 5:28-29)."

The Comfort Zone: Words of Comfort: Money-Hungry

The Comfort Zone: Words of Comfort: Money-Hungry: "For many years I have had a love and deep concern for atheists and where they will spend eternity. This picture was taken 26 years ago in "Speaker's Corner," in the heart of the city of Christchurch, New Zealand where I was heckled almost daily by atheists and skeptics, for 12 years. So I'm used to being called an idiot, etc. You are welcome to use words like that, but call me a money-hungry charlatan (or anything like that), mock the Name of Jesus or God even slightly, cuss or blaspheme and you will be banned faster than Richard Dawkins hides when asked about "evolution vs. God" or for scientific evidence for evolution. Around 3,000 atheists have ended up in the banned graveyard, just this year. So please take care. "
