Who is the head of the church, biblically speaking?

Who is the head of the church, biblically speaking?: " Two passages in the New Testament make it clear that the head of the church is Jesus Christ. Colossians 1:17–18a teaches, “And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church.” This passage makes a brief comparison between the human body and the church. The church is the body, and Jesus is the head. Jesus was before all things and holds all things together. This includes the church as well."

The Comfort Zone: Words of Comfort: John MacArthur says...: "This is a well-researched and beautifully written study showing the brilliant intricacy of God’s design as revealed in nature. Look anywhere in creation and you will see vivid evidence of God’s “invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature . . . clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made” (Romans 1:20)"

The Comfort Zone: Words of Comfort: Contradiction?

The Comfort Zone: Words of Comfort: Contradiction?: "See if you can spot a supposed Bible contradiction clue: It's to do with fear:

But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear Him who, after He has killed, has power to cast into hell; yes, I say to you, fear Him! Are not five sparrows sold for two copper coins? It was supposed to be a mirror so that Israel could see itself in truth, but they had clouded the mirror so that nothing could be seen clearly."

The Comfort Zone: Words of Comfort: Making Bread

The Comfort Zone: Words of Comfort: Making Bread: "Have you ever made bread? It’s an interesting experience—especially the way yeast makes the dough rise and puff up. The Bible word for yeast is “leaven,” and throughout Scripture it is used symbolically as that which is false: "In the meantime, when an innumerable multitude of people had gathered together, so that they trampled one another, He began to say to His disciples first of all, ‘Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy."
