Offended American: Nativity Scenes Are Offensive

Offended American: Nativity Scenes Are Offensive: "n our glorious day and age, when you walk out of your front door and into society, it’s highly likely that someone will find you offensive. And it will probably happen before you sit down for lunch.

Made in His Image: Human Reproduction

Made in His Image: Human Reproduction: "new life is started the moment a human sperm cell unites with a human egg. Sounds simple, doesn't it? A person can decide for himself, but he will need to follow along very closely to catch all of the details and carefully piece them together, just as he would follow a skillful mystery."

The Comfort Zone: Words of Comfort: "Yom"

The Comfort Zone: Words of Comfort: "Yom": "Most theologians throughout church history agree that in using the phrase “the evening and the morning were the first day,” the Scriptures are speaking of a literal 24-hour day, rather than a period of years.

This could be the deciding case as to if we really have the freedom to follow our Christian beliefs in America or not.

Another Day, Another Faux Christian Outrage: Costco's Fiction Bible — www.christianitytoday.com — Readability

We finished up a marriage series, and I learned that I wasn't communicating in her love language—most guys can relate! She snapped a photo of a jacket she liked at Costco, and so last Friday I went there looking for it. On my way out of the store, I was browsing through some of their books. I noticed the Bible was being sold and had a label on it that said "Fiction." As I checked, I noticed that all Bibles were labeled in that fashion. I went to find someone in the store and inquire as to why it was labeled fiction. Unfortunately, I couldn't."

A sad thing

It's very sad that people will shoot each other, trample each other, and fight
Over material things, less than 24 hours after they celebrate being
Thankful to God for what they already have.
