This Famous Music Star Has a New Song Out... Atheists Are Going to Hate It [LISTEN HERE]: "Atheists have a new target in their sights and it’s country music star Carrie Underwood, who recently released a new song expressing her Christian faith and values.
In the song, titled “Something in the Water,” Underwood discusses baptism and being “washed in the blood,” both of which are key symbols in the Christian religion. Lyrics throughout the song paint a picture of someone coming to the desperate realization they are hopelessly lost without God and need Him for salvation."

Out of context – five of the most misused Bible verses | Christian News on Christian Today
Out of context – five of the most misused Bible verses | Christian News on Christian Today: "The Bible is brilliant. Full of incredible wisdom, and more than that, a book that is somehow alive; the clearest way in which humanity can hear from God. Taken as a whole, it communicates the heart, character and nature of God, and gives us an understanding of his relationship with humanity. However, thanks to a helpful 13th century Archbishop of Canterbury, the Bible is divided into the chapters and verses by which we quote and reference it today – and that's where the trouble can start..."

California Denies InterVarsity Christian Fellowship to be Christian
California Denies InterVarsity Christian Fellowship to be Christian: "A disturbing story came and went, barely noticed a few weeks ago. InterVarsity Christian Fellowship is being unceremoniously booted off the campuses of California’s 23 state universities. This begins with a process of “derecognizing” these as legitimate campus groups."

Evangelical Compromisers Launching Campaign for Same-Sex Marriages
Evangelical Compromisers Launching Campaign for Same-Sex Marriages: "I am always amazed and saddened to see just how far some Christians will to compromise the Word of God in order to justify their sins or a sinful lifestyle. They remind me of a child who is given a plate full of good healthy food, only for the child to sit and pick at the food, eating only what they want to and hoping to throw the rest in the garbage. That’s what so many Christians are doing with God’s Word these days; they are picking and choosing what principles they want to accept and what ones they want to ignore and throw in the garbage."

Question of the Week
Question of the Week: "The Bible describes God as holy (Isaiah 6:3), righteous (Psalm 7:11), just (Deuteronomy 32:4), and sovereign (Daniel 4:17-25). These attributes tell us the following about God: (1) God is capable of preventing evil, and (2) God desires to rid the universe of evil. So, if both of these are true, why does God allow evil? If God has the power to prevent evil and desires to prevent evil, why does He still allow evil? Perhaps a practical way to look at this question would be to consider some alternative ways people might have God run the world:"

Writers, Kick Self-Doubt in the Bum!
Writers, Kick Self-Doubt in the Bum!: "Everyone experiences self-doubt now and then. It’s part of being human, and writers are not exempt from this. In fact, I would go as far as to say that writers probably experience self-doubt more than other people. This is because we create things by transforming abstract ideas into concrete, readable words; and this makes us prone to criticism – whether constructive or not."

How Christian Kids Should Deal With ‘LGBT’ Peers and Bullies
How Christian Kids Should Deal With ‘LGBT’ Peers and Bullies: "None can deny the fast-rising popularity and approval of the “lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender” (LGBT) lifestyles. Most especially, perhaps, the “bisexual orientation,” which has become rather fashionable and, hence, more frequently practiced among today’s blindly “tolerant” millennial generation."

Franklin Graham: Is the World Coming Apart at the Seams? | Story | BGEA: "As you watch the news, do you feel as I do—that it seems the world is coming apart at the seams? There appears to be no end to the bad news. The killing of Christians by Muslims from Indonesia to Bangladesh to Pakistan. China tearing down church buildings. Christians tortured, beheaded, and crucified in Iraq, with villages burned and churches destroyed, and much the same in Syria."
