Harvest Daily Devotion for 4/14/2011: "Wholehearted Devotion"
Harvest Daily Devotion for 4/14/2011: "Wholehearted Devotion": "Of all the people Jesus could have appeared to first after His resurrection, He appeared to Mary Magdalene. It is interesting to think about, because among the Jews of the day, the testimony of a woman was not held in high regard."

The Truth – Works Both Ways | The Jesus Site Blog
The Truth – Works Both Ways | The Jesus Site Blog: "The truth has an interesting characteristic about it. If something is true, you can generally work the idea backward or forward and it just works. Let’s take a simple math problem, for example. If you add together 2 + 3, you get 5. Now, if you work it backwards and start at 5 and subtract 3, you end up back at 2. Most math teachers will tell their students that this is a good way to verify that they have answered a math problem correctly."
Never Assume! Challenging the Basic Assumptions of Evolutionists - Answers in Genesis
Never Assume! Challenging the Basic Assumptions of Evolutionists - Answers in Genesis: "Evolutionists like Dr. Richard Dawkins speak authoritatively as if their not-even-theory were as good as fact. But building a case for naturalistic evolution is like trying to build a house in midair. No matter how solid the construction, the house will collapse without a foundation."
Stone the Preacher
Stone the Preacher: "have a challenge for you unbelievers on this day: Go see a movie that is positive, inspiring and might possibly cause you to shed a tear or two. I call it “Rocky with One Arm."

Atheist Central -- Ray Comfort's Blog: "I am forever reading how I'm a lying, money-hungry, ignorant, fear-mongering, snake-oil salesman. Yet, I know that if I told you that Hell doesn't exist and that you have nothing to worry about when it comes to your moral responsibility, the accusations would slow down and perhaps even stop."

Rob Bell: a Brother to Embrace, or a Wolf to Avoid?
Rob Bell: a Brother to Embrace, or a Wolf to Avoid?: "Is Rob Bell truly a Christian, or is he one of those dangerous deceivers Scripture warns us about repeatedly (Acts 20:29; 2 Corinthians 11:13-15; Colossians 2:8; 2 Peter 2:1; etc.)?
It's a fair—and necessary—question. Christ’s famous warning about wolves in sheep’s clothing is given to us as an imperative: “Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits” (Matthew 7:15-16). Our Lord clearly expects His true disciples to be able to spot spiritual imposters and wolves in sheep’s clothing—especially those who are purveyors of deadly false doctrines."

On The Box: Who Made God?
On The Box: Who Made God?: "The most common context in which the old who made God question comes in is after a detractor of the faith concedes that the universe has not always existed but, had a beginning!"
