The Comfort Zone: Words of Comfort: Gods love me.: "How do I know that God loves me? Is it because He fashioned my eyes with 137,000,000 light sensitive cells so that I could see color and beauty? Or because He gave us amazingly intricate ears to enjoy good music, or an unspeakably sophisticated brain to process information?"

The Everyday Club | As You Go
The Everyday Club | As You Go: "On January 1, 2004, Pastor Steve Sanchez made a commitment to personally share the Gospel everyday. This started a series of BLOG posts which he titled the Everyday Club where he invited other Christians to make a commitment to personal evangelism. (You can read the invitation to join his 2013 club here.) Each person can commit to however much (or little) evangelism that they want to do. This evangelism comes in the form of handing out tracts, one on one conversations, going door to door and even open air preaching. The idea is to follow the Lord’s direction and share the Gospel Everyday!"

What We Forget About Jesus | RELEVANT Magazine
What We Forget About Jesus | RELEVANT Magazine: "We know a lot about Jesus, but certain characteristics we tend to forget or ignore, like the fact He was a smelly homeless guy who ticked off a lot of political and religious leaders with His claims to be God. We can't know Jesus fully unless we realize some commonly known, but often unconsidered facts. Without them, we can't really know Jesus; we only know about Him. We tend to be ignorant of the history, the deity, the humanity that defined Him."

Ashamed | Church of Christ ArticlesChurch of Christ Articles: "The negative impact of an Anti-Christ society. In the news media and academia there is a “cult of non-belief.”
The “intellectual elite” assumes that stupidity accompanies religious conviction!
About 57% of Americans do not attend church and oppose organized religion.
Embarrassment and shame has been the result with many Christians.
We will be condemned eternally for having shame of God and His gospel!"

Why “Do You Take the Bible Literally?” Is the Wrong Question | Brian Kiley
Why “Do You Take the Bible Literally?” Is the Wrong Question | Brian Kiley: "That question really bothers me.
It gets asked and answered in coffee shops, television networks, and TED Talks, but it is a meaningless question.
It’s so wooden. It reduces the complexity of faith to something even more rigid than black and white."

Got Questions - Question of the Week
Got Questions - Question of the Week: "Answer: The practice of making New Year’s resolutions goes back over 3,000 years to the ancient Babylonians. There is just something about the start of a new year that gives us the feeling of a fresh start and a new beginning. In reality, there is no difference between December 31 and January 1. Nothing mystical occurs at midnight on December 31. The Bible does not speak for or against the concept of New Year’s resolutions. However, if a Christian determines to make a New Year’s resolution, what kind of resolution should he or she make?"
