New book on Amazon

End Times: Are there Biblical signs that show us when Jesus will return? - Kindle edition by Glenn Pease. Religion & Spirituality Kindle eBooks @ Amazon.com.: "There are hundreds of books written about signs of the times showing that we are in the end times because of something the author interpreted from the Bible. The problem with signs of the end times is that there is nothing in the Bible to back up what they say. The opposite is true, Jesus said we will not know when he will return, he will come like a thief in the night, so we need to be ready all the time. "

This Famous Music Star Has a New Song Out... Atheists Are Going to Hate It [LISTEN HERE]

This Famous Music Star Has a New Song Out... Atheists Are Going to Hate It [LISTEN HERE]: "Atheists have a new target in their sights and it’s country music star Carrie Underwood, who recently released a new song expressing her Christian faith and values.

In the song, titled “Something in the Water,” Underwood discusses baptism and being “washed in the blood,” both of which are key symbols in the Christian religion. Lyrics throughout the song paint a picture of someone coming to the desperate realization they are hopelessly lost without God and need Him for salvation."

Out of context – five of the most misused Bible verses | Christian News on Christian Today

Out of context – five of the most misused Bible verses | Christian News on Christian Today: "The Bible is brilliant. Full of incredible wisdom, and more than that, a book that is somehow alive; the clearest way in which humanity can hear from God. Taken as a whole, it communicates the heart, character and nature of God, and gives us an understanding of his relationship with humanity. However, thanks to a helpful 13th century Archbishop of Canterbury, the Bible is divided into the chapters and verses by which we quote and reference it today – and that's where the trouble can start..."

Evangelical Compromisers Launching Campaign for Same-Sex Marriages

Evangelical Compromisers Launching Campaign for Same-Sex Marriages: "I am always amazed and saddened to see just how far some Christians will to compromise the Word of God in order to justify their sins or a sinful lifestyle. They remind me of a child who is given a plate full of good healthy food, only for the child to sit and pick at the food, eating only what they want to and hoping to throw the rest in the garbage. That’s what so many Christians are doing with God’s Word these days; they are picking and choosing what principles they want to accept and what ones they want to ignore and throw in the garbage."

Question of the Week

Question of the Week: "The Bible describes God as holy (Isaiah 6:3), righteous (Psalm 7:11), just (Deuteronomy 32:4), and sovereign (Daniel 4:17-25). These attributes tell us the following about God: (1) God is capable of preventing evil, and (2) God desires to rid the universe of evil. So, if both of these are true, why does God allow evil? If God has the power to prevent evil and desires to prevent evil, why does He still allow evil? Perhaps a practical way to look at this question would be to consider some alternative ways people might have God run the world:"

Writers, Kick Self-Doubt in the Bum!

Writers, Kick Self-Doubt in the Bum!: "Everyone experiences self-doubt now and then. It’s part of being human, and writers are not exempt from this. In fact, I would go as far as to say that writers probably experience self-doubt more than other people. This is because we create things by transforming abstract ideas into concrete, readable words; and this makes us prone to criticism – whether constructive or not."
