Spreading the Gospel of Jesus
Spreading the Gospel of Jesus: "Matthew 28:19 says 9 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
When you accept Christ and follow him, one of the main things Christians are called to do is to go out into the world and tell others about Jesus, and tell them what he did for them so that they can have the opportunity to have eternal life in heaven. New Year, New Adjective: “Christ-Exalting” | Desiring God
New Year, New Adjective: “Christ-Exalting” | Desiring God: "There are serious theological reasons why we love hyphenated phrases that turn verbs and nouns into adjectives. God-centered. Christ-exalting. Spirit-dependent. Bible-saturated. Gospel-rooted. Truth-tethered. Soul-satisfying. Sin-killing. Justice-advancing. Satan-defeating. Self-sacrificing. Risk-taking. Mission-pursuing. And more. One of those reasons is that making a verb into an adjective shows that it modifies a hundred things you do rather than simply being one of those things. I’ll come back to this."
