Grace to You
Grace to You: "Men, have you ever been at work and touched your face, only to realize that you forgot to shave? Perhaps you were distracted by your wife's call to breakfast or by one of the kids. Ladies, have you ever been out in public and suddenly realized that you forgot to apply some of your makeup?"
Atheist Central -- Ray Comfort's Blog
Atheist Central -- Ray Comfort's Blog: "One of the great mysteries about the holocaust was the seeming complicity of so many of the German people. Yet, I have watched World War 2 footage of the Allies (as they liberated Concentration camps) forcing those who lived around the death-camps, to go through them."
How can I become more motivated for soul winning?
How can I become more motivated for soul winning?: "Answer: Being motivated for soul winning is a good thing, but we must define some terms first. “Soul winning” is a metaphor for evangelism, or witnessing. As such, this is a good thing to pursue. The Bible calls us to evangelize. Evangelism is at the heart of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20). Christians are called to be witnesses of their faith to a watching world (Acts 1:8). In fact, the word “martyr” comes from the Greek word for “witness.” Early Christians were often put to death for their “witness” to Christ. Clearly these people were so motivated for winning souls that they gave their lives to that cause."
What is the proper way to pray?
What is the proper way to pray?: "Answer: Is it best to pray standing up, sitting down, kneeling, or bowing down? Should our hands be open, closed, or lifted up to God? Do our eyes need to be closed when we pray? Is it better to pray in a church building or out in nature? Should we pray in the morning when we get up or at night before we go to bed?"
Harvest Daily Devotion for 6/10/2011: "The Church Triumphant"
Harvest Daily Devotion for 6/10/2011: "The Church Triumphant": "Sometimes people get upset with the church. They may have been mistreated, or perhaps someone representing the church didn't do a good job of that. Or maybe they did a horrible thing in the name of the church, and there is no excuse for that."

The sovereignty of God and His unchanging nature
The sovereignty of God and His unchanging nature: "Our God is completely sovereign, in control of absolutely everything at all times. There is not a single molecule floating about in the universe that is outside of His sovereign will and purpose. Everything that happens is either caused or allowed by Him for His own perfect purposes."
Science in Scripture – The Flat Earth Farce
Science in Scripture – The Flat Earth Farce: "Good science in Scripture? Sounds like some sort of oxymoron to me…
I thought of myself as quite the literary cynic during my dark years. I loved the religious and classical parodies of Sir Terry Pratchett, especially Discworld, which allowed me to feel good about rejecting my religious roots in the name of intellectual skepticism"
