The Persistent Spider | Ray Comfort's Daily Evidence
The Persistent Spider | Ray Comfort's Daily Evidence: "Many years ago we had in our home a stubborn spider that kept building a web against our house. No matter how many times we swept it away, the spider and its web would reappear the next morning."

In Touch with Dr. Charles Stanley - In Touch - Jan. 21/22, 2012 - Christian Devotional: "One Sunday, a man approached me between services to share his story. He'd been addicted to drugs and was leading a hopeless life when he heard a Scripture verse in a sermon. He said that one passage led him to place his trust in Jesus. The man was saved, and God transformed his life."

Putting Faith Under House Arrest - Gary McCaleb - Townhall Conservative Columnists - Page 1: "For decades, atheist groups have strategically involved themselves in questions of religious freedom, and they have done so chiefly by fighting to have all Christian symbols and texts removed from public view. But in recent years, as this fight has continued, it’s become evident that it’s not just symbols and texts they want removed from public view, rather, it’s Christians themselves."

Promises | Ray Comfort's Daily Evidence
Promises | Ray Comfort's Daily Evidence: "Some think that these promises will not have accomplishment in full, till the general conversion of the Jews in the latter days. Also this promise is applied to the gospel, and the bringing in both the Jews and Gentiles to it, by St. Paul, Ro 9:25,26, and by St. Peter, 1Pe 2:10. To believe in Christ, is to have him for our Head, and willingly to commit ourselves to his guidance and government."

“How do you respond when someone says, ‘Well, no one is perfect’?” | Ray Comfort's Daily Evidence: "Agree with him. The person is seeking to justify his sinful heart by spreading the blame around all of humanity, and at the same time inferring that the standard God requires is too high."

Fear is poison | Ray Comfort's Daily Evidence
Fear is poison | Ray Comfort's Daily Evidence: "If the enemy cannot use apathy to cause us to cease from our labors on behalf of the gospel, he will use intimidation. Fear is his poison, but faith is the antidote."

Repentance may not be popular… | Ray Comfort's Daily Evidence
Repentance may not be popular… | Ray Comfort's Daily Evidence: "Do we remove words that might offend, such as “repentance” and “hell” to make the message more acceptable, or to make ourselves acceptable to a God-hating world? God forbid that our concern should be for our own comfort, rather than for the eternal welfare of the world."

Crosswalk.com - The Devotional
Crosswalk.com - The Devotional: "I heard the Tim McGraw song Live Like You Were Dying in the most unusual of places the other day - my head as I slept. Normally that's a huge annoyance, a song looping through my brain while I toss and turn. This time, however, I think I was so relieved it wasn't something by The Wiggles or VeggieTales that I went along for the ride."

Words of Comfort -- Ray Comfort's Blog: The General: "The three men decided that it would be too risky to drive into the village or to try and return to Paris that night. The Germans wouldn't want French fishermen rising up at their backs while the Allies were attacking at the front."

Words of Comfort -- Ray Comfort's Blog: "Jacques was a cool character. He picked up a mug from the dirt and poured coffee from a flask in front of him. Then he sipped it as he drank in the sight on the horizon. Jerry smiled and gently patted the weapon as if he was patting a dog that was pulling at the leash, wanting to attack its prey."

What is the greatest sin?
What is the greatest sin?: "Answer: No sin is greater than another sin in the eternal sense. All sin separates us from God and all sin needs to be atoned for. Also, there is no “greatest sin” in the sense of “mortal” and “venial” sins, as the Catholic Church teaches. All sins are “mortal” sins in that even one sin makes the offender worthy of spiritual death and eternal separation from God. At the same time, the Bible does state that on the day of judgment some sins will merit greater punishment than others (Matthew 11:22, 24; Luke 10:12, 14)."
