A number of atheists want to know details of my education, and have also asked what religious credentials I hold, suspecting that I am unqualified to speak for God.

Dear reader, the following article has been written in order to convey information about the unbiblical practice of Christian Yoga. Sadly, many professing Christians in the church are too undiscerning to know any better. Even Hindu’s recognize that “Christian Yoga is still Hindu.”

I call people when I hear that they have had some sort of tragedy. I’ve been making a lot of calls recently. I phoned one Christian woman after I saw her being interviewed on TV and she mentioned that her husband loved our ministry

I returned this morning to St. Stephen's Episcopal Church--not to attend, but to stand on the public sidewalk in front of the church, with my cross.

Here's a typical reaction to my question about how the first fish was able to test his new lungs that evolved, over time, under water: "Ray's stupid, erroneous, childish, ignorant imaginings of what the theory of evolution is are designed to make evolution into another creation mythology."

If you have ever planted flowers and cared for them, you have probably noticed that weeds come up over a period of time. You don't see the soil start moving and then a weed suddenly shoot up and grab a flower.

Will there be any sin or sorrow in heaven?
Will there be any sin or sorrow in heaven?
No! Heaven will be so dramatically different from the present world that to describe it requires the use of negatives, as well as positives. To describe what is totally beyond human understanding also requires pointing out how it differs from present experience.

God's Word provides us with two reasons that God's children continue to face suffering after salvation.
I feel abandoned in my trial. Why does God seem so distant when I need Him most?

You're troubled, so you pray. You're distressed, so you cry for God to bring you quick relief. But all you hear in reply is silence--a silence so deafening it drowns out every thought but this: God isn't listening.

Gaining Courage in Tough Times
Gaining Courage in Tough Times
When you face a hardship in life, is fear the first emotion you feel? It doesn’t have to be. We can respond in faith regardless of our circumstances. Remember, courage isn’t just an attitude of toughness or determination. It is a quality of mind and spirit that enables us to meet the challenges of life with peace.

After his unexpected and radical conversion, the notorious Saul of Tarsus began to pray. In fact, when the Lord sent Ananias to go to him with words of encouragement, He said, "Behold, he is praying" (Acts 9:11)

Truth Vs Belief
What do you think is more important? What you believe or what you believe is true?
4 years ago if someone told me the previous question would prove to be a hill people would choose to fight on, I would have never bought into it! I cannot number the times I have found myself trying to explain to someone on the street that belief is bankrupt if it is not centered on truth!

Harvest Daily Devotion for 3/1/2011: "Be Careful How You Listen"
: "When is the easiest time to get a hardened heart? The answer may surprise you. It is not while hanging around godless people, doing godless things. The easiest time to get a hardened heart—an attitude of indifference toward the things of God—is when you are hearing the Word of God. Of course that also can be a place to have your heart softened. But as I have said before, the same sun that softens the wax hardens the clay."

"In contrast to farming in the 21st century, first-century farming was quite simple. A farmer would plant his crops by walking along and throwing seed in a relatively indiscriminate manner. Sometimes the wind would pick up the seed, some might end up on a road, and some might land on ground that was embedded with stones or infested with weeds. And some would land on fertile, receptive soil."

Harvest Daily Devotion for 2/28/2011: "Faulty Foundations": "One reason people fall away from the faith is because they have built their faith on the wrong foundation. Sometimes we build our faith on a church. We become very passionate about our church and may even develop a my-church-is-better-than-your-church attitude. But there are a lot of great churches in the world. And we are all part of the church, not just a particular church."

How to Slay Sin, Part 3: "John Bunyan, author of the classic Pilgrim’s Progress, wrote in the cover of his Bible, “Either this book will keep you from sin, or sin will keep you from this book.” Bunyan understood what many in the war against sin don’t—the Word of God is the weapon you simply cannot neglect."

"While sharing the gospel with a professing atheist yesterday, he asked me 'Why does God require us to worship Him? It seems rather egotistical of God to require that we worship Him.' How would you respond to this? (Actually, he asked “why God needs us to worship Him, but I pointed out that the Bible teaches that God is self-sufficient and doesn't 'need' us to worship Him.) As I understand it, his question is an objection to obeying the first commandment."

Could Jesus Have Survived the Crucifixion?
"The swoon theory is one of Satan's oldest lies concerning the Resurrection. This theory proposes that Jesus did not rise from the dead, because He never really died. Instead, Jesus went into a deep coma or 'swoon' from the severe pain and trauma of the Crucifixion. Then, in the cool atmosphere of the tomb, Christ revived, somehow escaped the strips of cloths that were wrapped tightly upon Him, and then appeared to His disciples."
