Atheist Central -- Ray Comfort's Blog
Atheist Central -- Ray Comfort's Blog: "There are just 31 verses in Genesis chapter one, but in it we see an explanation for the cosmos, and for this amazing earth. So over the next week or so, we will look at what many call 'an ancient fairytale bronze-age book,' and see if it can hold up to rational scrutiny."

Atheist Central -- Ray Comfort's Blog: "No doubt you have seen the popular YouTube clip 'Why Richard Dawkins Doesn't Debate Creationists.' I guess he changed his mind and decided that he would debate a woman, probably thinking he would chew her up and spit her out."

Harvest Weekend Devotion for 4/16/2011: "What Breaks God's Heart": "As Jesus made His triumphal entry into Jerusalem, the crowds were celebrating. They were laughing. They were cheering. They were having a great time. And what was Jesus doing? He saw the city, and He wept over it. Here was the crowd, whipped into a frenzy, and Jesus was weeping. The crowd was rejoicing, and Christ was sobbing."

Atheist Central -- Ray Comfort's Blog: "There are 11 million people in greater Los Angeles, and the entire country has over 300 million. That's a whole lot of people, so I was pleased to do a one-hour interview on a national talk show—because it was broadcast out of Chicago and reached right across the nation."

In Touch with Dr. Charles Stanley - In Touch - Oct. 5, 2010 - Christian Devotional: "The tumultuous times in which we live challenge our sense of security and well-being. In a world filled with violence, injustice, financial instability, and natural disasters, how can we live in undisturbed safety? Jesus' words to His disciples seem contradictory—peace and tribulation just don't go together"

When a Buddhist Nun Discovers Jesus Christ
When a Buddhist Nun Discovers Jesus Christ: "Since the death of her husband a few years ago, Lin Lin had decided to become a Buddhist nun. Her energetic 15 year old son made a similar decision and joined a Buddhist monastery as a novice student. Both were walking along 'the path of enlightenment' as they studied the teachings of Buddha. Lin Lin was especially proud of their pursuit to achieve Nirvana; the state of mind where true inner peace is achieved by freeing oneself from all worldly obsessions and fixations."

The Truth – Works Both Ways | The Jesus Site Blog
The Truth – Works Both Ways | The Jesus Site Blog: "The truth has an interesting characteristic about it. If something is true, you can generally work the idea backward or forward and it just works. Let’s take a simple math problem, for example. If you add together 2 + 3, you get 5. Now, if you work it backwards and start at 5 and subtract 3, you end up back at 2. Most math teachers will tell their students that this is a good way to verify that they have answered a math problem correctly."
Never Assume! Challenging the Basic Assumptions of Evolutionists - Answers in Genesis
Never Assume! Challenging the Basic Assumptions of Evolutionists - Answers in Genesis: "Evolutionists like Dr. Richard Dawkins speak authoritatively as if their not-even-theory were as good as fact. But building a case for naturalistic evolution is like trying to build a house in midair. No matter how solid the construction, the house will collapse without a foundation."

Atheist Central -- Ray Comfort's Blog
Atheist Central -- Ray Comfort's Blog: "I am forever reading how I'm a lying, money-hungry, ignorant, fear-mongering, snake-oil salesman. Yet, I know that if I told you that Hell doesn't exist and that you have nothing to worry about when it comes to your moral responsibility, the accusations would slow down and perhaps even stop."

Rob Bell: a Brother to Embrace, or a Wolf to Avoid?
Rob Bell: a Brother to Embrace, or a Wolf to Avoid?: "Is Rob Bell truly a Christian, or is he one of those dangerous deceivers Scripture warns us about repeatedly (Acts 20:29; 2 Corinthians 11:13-15; Colossians 2:8; 2 Peter 2:1; etc.)?
It's a fair—and necessary—question. Christ’s famous warning about wolves in sheep’s clothing is given to us as an imperative: “Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits” (Matthew 7:15-16). Our Lord clearly expects His true disciples to be able to spot spiritual imposters and wolves in sheep’s clothing—especially those who are purveyors of deadly false doctrines."

Harvest Daily Devotion for 4/11/2011: "Bad Company": "Peter's denial of Jesus did not happen over a period of seconds or minutes, but over a period of hours. An hour had passed from the time the first person said, 'You were one of those with Jesus the Galilean,' to the time Peter made his second denial. He had ample opportunity to hightail it out of there, but he remained in this situation."

Why do Christians try to impose their values on others?
Why do Christians try to impose their values on others?: "Christians are frequently accused of trying to impose their values or their beliefs on others. The oft-heard accusation is that Christians are trying to “shove their religion down our throats.” In addressing this question, we must also address the implied accusation that Christians are an authoritarian group that seeks to impinge on the rights of others. Of course, there have been tyrants who were professed Christians, but true followers of Jesus Christ do not seek to infringe on anyone’s basic human rights."
Can a Christian be a nudist? What does the Bible say about nudity?
Can a Christian be a nudist? What does the Bible say about nudity?: "Many pagan cultures throughout history considered public nudity normative, especially Spartan, Greek, and Roman societies. In more recent years, pubic nudity has become more and more acceptable, with many groups promoting a “back-to-nature” philosophy and the supposed health benefits of taking off one’s clothes. Nudists, or naturists, form clubs, frequent clothing-free beaches, and engage in activities ranging from hiking to horseback riding au naturel."
