Only One Way? The Exclusivity of Jesus Christ and the Gospel - Christian foundations - Christianity.com

Only One Way? The Exclusivity of Jesus Christ and the Gospel - Christian foundations - Christianity.com: "Three positions abound today on the question of whether Christ is the only way to salvation. All three can be detected by how each answers these two fundamental questions: First, Is Jesus the only Savior? More fully: Is the sinless life of Christ and his atoning death and resurrection the only means by which the penalty of sin is paid and the power of sin defeated? Second, Is faith in Christ necessary to be saved? More fully: Is conscious knowledge of Christ's death and resurrection for sin and explicit faith in Christ necessary for anyone to become a recipient of the benefits of Christ's atoning work and so be saved?"

Enriching every sphere. | Ray Comfort's Daily Evidence: "“Socrates taught for 40 years, Plato for 50, Aristotle for 40, and Jesus for only 3. Yet the influence of Christ’s 3-year ministry infinitely transcends the impact left by the combined 130 years of teaching from these men who were among the greatest philosophers of all antiquity. Jesus painted no pictures; yet, some of the finest paintings of Raphael, Michelangelo, and Leonardo da Vinci received their inspiration from Him."

On The Box: Christians Shouldn't Dance With The Stars: "All-too-often, famous Christians dance with the stars. In other words, when given the opportunity to proclaim biblical truth in front of a live, television audience they too often swing and miss. They would rather dance with the stars (show hosts, interviewers, news reporters, and pundits) than proclaim the truth."

The Bible: Human or Divine? - Bible Answer Man with Hank Hanegraaff: "To defend the faith we must be equipped to demonstrate that the Bible is divine rather than human in origin. If we can successfully accomplish this, we can answer a host of other objections simply by appealing to Scripture. To chart our course I will use the acronym M-A-P-S. Since most Bibles have maps in the back, this should prove to be a memorable association."

And when you take that idealism — that heroic vision for who you can be and what you can achieve — and combine it with an adult’s ability to act and comprehend, you can do truly great things (if you don’t let the voices of convention talk you into giving up first)."

In Touch with Dr. Charles Stanley - In Touch - Mar. 19, 2008 - Christian Devotional: " Jesus’ last meal with His disciples took place during the celebration of Passover. Giving them bread, He said, “Take, eat; this is My body.” Next, offering wine from a shared cup, He told them, “Drink from it, all of you; for this is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for forgiveness of sins” (Matthew 26:26-28). Believers today observe the Lord’s Supper as a symbol of cleansing, consecration, and communion. "

Is humanity improving the world around it? The Bible is really clear on this one: our culture is dark, and it is getting darker. That is what the Bible teaches. It is not going to get better; it is going to get worse. Despite the fact that humanity has increased in scientific, medical, historical, educational, psychological, and technological knowledge to an astounding degree, we have not in any way, shape, or form changed our own basic nature. And we have not improved society"

In Touch with Dr. Charles Stanley - In Touch - Jan. 11, 2012 - Christian Devotional: "There is a common misconception that believers should be perfect. Pretending to have our lives in order, many of us wear happy faces and speak words that sound acceptable. At times we’re ashamed to admit our shortcomings, as if they should not exist. Salvation through Jesus, however, doesn’t change the fact that sin is present in our life. When we’re born again, God forgives us and sees us as righteous. Yet our battle with sin continues till we arrive in heaven."

Food Czar Michelle Obama and choice

Without it being official, it appears that Michelle Obama is the food Czar for the current administration. She has worked over the past 3 years to control what we eat, by taking vending machines out of schools and working to change many other things that affect our choices of what we can and can't eat. The latest thing is a deal with M&M Mars to get rid of king size Snickers bars, to take away our freedom of choice on things that she has decided are bad for us.

She apparently feels that we shouldn't be allowed to make these tough decisions on our own about eating a regular or king size snickers candy bar. We shouldn't have a choice to do what we want to do with our own bodies when it comes to what food we eat.

How can this be from the same people that say that we must allow women have a choice to kill their baby if they decide for some reason that they don't want it. Having the choice of what to do with their body is the most important thing there is to many liberals when it comes to having a choice in a pregnancy, but not when it comes to how big of a candy bar they can choose to eat.

Does this make any sense to anyone? It certainly doesn't to me.

If we want to save America, we need to vote this administration out of office before they can do any more damage.
