Is salvation by faith alone, or by faith plus works?: "Answer: This is perhaps the most important question in all of Christian theology. This question is the cause of the Reformation, the split between the Protestant churches and Catholic Church. This question is a key difference between biblical Christianity and most of the “Christian” cults. Is salvation by faith alone, or by faith plus works? Am I saved just by believing in Jesus, or do I have to believe in Jesus and do certain things?"

How can I be saved?
How can I be saved?: "Answer: This simple, yet profound, question is the most important question that can be asked. "How can I be saved?" deals with where we will spend eternity after our lives in this world are over. There is no more important issue than our eternal destiny. Thankfully, the Bible is abundantly clear on how a person can be saved. The Philippian jailer asked Paul and Silas, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” (Acts 16:30). Paul and Silas responded, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved” (Acts 16:31)."

Why did God make salvation such a narrow path?
Why did God make salvation such a narrow path?: "Answer: In Matthew 7:13–14, Jesus said, "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it." This passage causes some to question the goodness of God. After all, if He really wants to save everyone, why didn't He make it easier to be saved? Why doesn't He simply let everyone into heaven?"

On The Box: Words of Comfort: Hook Worms
On The Box: Words of Comfort: Hook Worms: "Okay. Ray, you're really starting to worry me now. Do you actually believe all that? I mean, about a Creator? Your premise is that the world we live in is highly complex and ordered, and that such complexity would require a Creator. If that is correct, then the Creator would be much more complex than that which He has created - which means that the Creator would need a Creator,"

On The Box: Words of Comfort: Judgment Day
On The Box: Words of Comfort: Judgment Day: "The Bible makes it clear that there will be a Day of Judgment. The Scriptures warn, “Though they join forces, the wicked will not go unpunished” (Prov. 11:21). However, will the standard of judgment be the Ten Commandments, or something else? Some believe it be the words of Jesus that will judge mankind, based on John 12:48: “He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him—the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day.”"

Atheists Want Their Unbelieving ‘Bibles’ Placed Next to Gideon Bibles: "The governor of Georgia has ordered that Bibles that were removed from lodges at government parks throughout the state be returned. Gov. Deal’s order prompted American Atheists, a group founded in 1963 by famed atheist Madeline Murray O’Hair,[1] “to ship books on atheism to the Georgia Department of Natural Resources in hopes that they will be placed in every cabin in the state parks.”"

Jesus Freak: fighting the good fight
Jesus Freak: fighting the good fight: "What other words can we say about Friday night, except for "Wow - Praise Jesus!" This night was so perfect that it literally felt like I was walking into a movie. Soon after we arrived a large van parked in the Walgreens parking lot. Shortly after, the doors opened and numerous impoverished people from all over Minneapolis came out. Despite their current financial and living situations, these individuals did not solemnly come out of this van. The doors were burst wide opened and they came running out with laughter and the biggest smiles one could imagine. It was the epitome of Phillipians 4:4-5 in which Paul says, "Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is Near."

How to share the gospel with others
How to share the gospel with others: "There are 2 main reasons why all Christians need to embrace evangelism. The first is Jesus told his disciples, which we all are if we are followers of Jesus, to go out and and make disciples of everyone else. The second reason is we don't want anyone to spend eternity in hell because they didn't understand why they need Jesus, and what they need to do to avoid going to hell."
